Something about old classic romance anime hits different to me and while I was searching for one, I came across this amazing anime ‘LOVELY COMPLEX’. This anime has over 24 episode and it also got a live-action movie adaptation which is pretty nice if you ask me.
The story deals with a tall girl (koizumi Risa ) and a short boy (Ootani Atsushi) who are treated as a comedy duo by their classmates. ‘Lovely Complex’ has a very interesting and funny story line, but it has its serious moments as well, and both the characters are very well written.
Although being physically different from eachother, Koizumi (tall) and Ootani (short), they both soon find out that they have similar taste in music and fashion.
REVIEW:
‘LOVELY COMPLEX’ in my opinion has an excellent story line and the struggles which the characters (mostly koizumi) go through because of their physical appearance defies the norm of the society makes my heart burst with tears. Going further in the series koizumi Risa will make you cry I guarantee it. Her character is written in such a way that you can’t help but cheer for her. She is a big happy personality, who cares a lot about her friends and even when she got rejected by the boy she loved, she didn’t gave up on her love and continued to work hard, although at times it gets extremely hard for her.
While Ootani, who is shorter than your average boys gets constantly mocked because of his short height, he tries his absolute best to play basketball and is very good at it, all because of his hardwork and dedication. Although at times he gets bullied because of his height, he doesn’t let it affect him. Similar to koizumi he’s got a happy personality, but at times he is a bit of a thick-headed and doesn’t understand the situation. No matter, he is still a caring friend and is always there to help you out.
Each and every episode is a gem, with progressive story and characters you can’t help but to fall in love with them. Lovely complex has a very different and a unique story, which makes it one fo my favourite romance anime. Just don’t let the artstyle bother you, in my opinion it adds to its aesthetic.
I just wish more and more people watch this anime, it is one of the most wholesome and funny animes out there. I would pay to watch it again like the first time.

DRAGON BALL SERIES:
Ohh boy, please don’t roast me for this but I hate the dragon ball series(including dragon ball Z, GT, Super Heroes), Dragon ball being one of the greatest and one of the most popular anime, I somehow don’t like this series, and it’s not that I haven’t watched the series, I have completed all of the dragon ball arcs (excluding heroes). I really don’t have a solid reason for hating dragon ball, it’s just that I dont like stories which takes a lot of time to progress and the fighting scenes used to take forever to finish which was frustrating for me. And I think everyone will agree with me on this one, the GT arc was the worst, I don’t know why this arc even exists. The GT arc has no relation to actual story whatsoever, just a big filler arc. I’m sorry if you are a big dragon ball fan.
POPULAR MOVIES I LIKE, BUT EVERYONE SEEMS TO HATE:
MOVIE 43:
I dont think there is a popular movie which only I like and everybody else doesn’t, and popular movies are popular cause everyone or the majority of people love them, right. So I’m kinda thrown in a loop here. Anyways I selected MOVIE 43, its not a popular movie but everyone else seems to hate it. And I don’t blame the people for hating this movie, casue this is a really weird movie and by weird, i really mean it. Movie 43 is a dark, comedy movie with a really dark humour. But i genuinely though it was funny and I loved it. But when I read the reviews it was not what i had expected. Anyways if you haven’t watched this movie, do check it out.

If you have watch this anime series, then yall know the pain. And i can pretty much assure you that, anyone who has watched this series feels the same way i do. Haruki Kitahara, the protagonists of the series ends up with Setsuna Ogiso which make my head boil. And Kazusa Touma, the girl who I was rooting for, had to go off alone and I just hate it. It was really frustrating watching this. I really wished KITAHARA AND KAZUSA to end up together. But it is what it is.

Horror is one genre I hate from the bottom of my heart, I truly can’t stand horror movies and series. I rather embarrass myself in public than watch a horror movie. Horror has always been something which I can’t seem to watch no matter what. I once went to the cinemas to watch a horror movie with my buddies and the whole movie I had my eyes shut, I got so sacred by the sound of the movie, watching it was a whole another task for me.

I dont know whether BORUTO is a beloved character or not. But anyways, i just hate him, so yea he is that one character I don’t really like at all. Watching him make me punch a hole in my screen. He is the most annoying character I have ever seen, say whatever you want, but my views on him is not gonna change.

Again, I’m sorry for not watching this series. I have tried several times to watch this series but I just end up skipping this series. Its that, one anime I just drop everytime I try to watch. It’s not that I have completed all the volumes of game of throne, I did finished the first volume but I can confidently say that watching the series was much better than reading the book itself. The series being of the best and I think you really feel the level of tension and excitement when you watch the series. It’s not that I’m disregarding the book.
POPULAR ANIME I PREFER OVER THE MANGA:
KONO OTO TOMARE:
This series, to be honest, is one of my favourite musical, slice of life anime. The manga is really great and all, but to be able to listen to the sounds of the KOTO that the characters play is something I really want. And unfortunately the manga can’t provide us with the sound that the instrument create, so I definitely prefer the anime over the manga.
And so with that, it’s finally over. Sheesh, I had a really tough time. Damn, I will get roasted later, I know for sure. Anyways thanks.
It’s 2:42 am, and I have tears of happiness shimmering down my eyes, I feel like a baby right now, the ending literally gave me goosebumps, I can assure you, this series is the most beautiful, most empowering and the most wholesome anime I have ever watched, I maybe saying this in the gist of the moment but I am really happy, so please don’t judge me. And I know, I am flattering this anime a little too much, but i cant help it, cause this series deserves it.
A little bit about our protagonists before I start talking about the series *NO SPOILERS*. Our protagonists, ARTE is a noble born girl, and simply put, she love arts, but her mother say otherwise and wants her daughter to marry someone rich, so that her daughter will have a good future. But ARTE, also say otherwise, and leaves her home, in hopes of becoming an artisan, which is her dream. But a girl being an artisan is never heard-of. And so she has to endeavour through a lot of hardship, to follow her dreams.
MY REVIEW:
Being offered a life of luxury and comfort is what everyone desires, even I do. But our ARTE, begs to differ, as all she wants to do is create art and stand on her own two feet. But the society denies her dream, because girls working as an artisan was something unheard of. And seeing our protagonists ARTE trying her best to prove that she is worthy of becoming an artisan, I can’t help but cheer for our little ARTE. Nothing seems to faze her, as her goal are clear to her and all she need to do is keep working hard. And after finally meeting someone, who was willing to take her in their workshop, ARTE’s dream slowly starts to take shape, but problems keep falling upon her one after the other but she keep on moving forward and seeing her try so hard, it is impossible to not cheer for her.
A historical, slice of life anime based on 16th century Florence, Italy, when art was thriving. A young girl sets out into the world following her dream, but is discriminated by the society as girls weren’t allowed to work, but small things like this can’t keep her chained up. And works really hard to prove, how wrong the society is.
Truly a beautiful anime, with good animation and a beautiful story, it does have a frustrating romantic scenes, but whatever, we just want to see ARTE owning the world.
Go watch this anime, I would highly recommend, please don’t sleep on such an amazing anime.

One piece episode 934 just aired about the an hours ago, and i have already watched it. Dude, the ending gave me chills. Finally got to see some zoro moves.
In this article I’m gonna talk about a Netflix original anime series ‘JAPAN SINKS 2020’, I’m gonna give you guys a honest review, unfiltered and raw, whether or not this series is worth watching, I will even give a rating in the scale of ten at the end of the article.
DON’T WORRY THIS POST IS SPOILER FREE, I WILL GIVE LITTLE TO NO SPOILER SO DON’T WORRY AND JUST RELAX.
First, a quick synopsis, it’s the year 2020 and the country of japan is hit by a major earthquake and its basically the end of Japan, and the people living there are doomed as the country slowly starts to sink. So the series starts and depicts the struggles of a particular family residing in Japan, and how they try their best to survive this calamity.
Warning: this series has a lot of gore scenes and a little nudity but i guess it’s alright.
It’s exactly 2:31 am and I have just finished watching the series, and I don’t know how to explain this, I kinda feel like I was cheated on, the whole series gave me like a FINAL DESTINATION themed type anime, but the ending was not how i expected it to be. I really don’t know how I feel about this series, I am in the middle ground for this one, cause I kinda like it and at the same time I dont.
THE GOOD:
The only good thing I can say about this series was that it had a unique story I guess, I don’t think there are many disaster based anime series other than Japan 8.0, I maybe wrong but this one really overdid the disaster theme. Another good thing about this series was that I wasn’t getting bored watching this, actually it was quite captivating, as there was so much happening in the series. It felt like as if I was riding a Rollercoaster. One thing I do wanna talk about is that the beauty in the message, it leaves behind is actually impressive, the whole series was like a gloomy ball of sadness, but even though the characters witnessing such horrors, they keep on moving forward, Forward towards a better future or atleast they try.
THE BAD:
There are a lot of things I wanna point out, firstly let’s talk about the artstyle, I have seen NEFLIX doing this a lot, instead of following the traditional artstyle for anime, they tend to do something different which I personally don’t like. People are gonna back fire at me for saying this, but artstyle does matter to the viewers to a certain point. Although it may not always be the case.
Another thing I didn’t like about this anime is that the animation gets really sloppy as the series progresses. Although, I don’t want to hate on the animators as they don’t get paid well for working so hard. Animating an entire series is quite expensive and takes a lot of time and hardwork. Me, personally, I feel like the series was kinda rushed, as the bad animation takes away the intensity of the story while watching it. The animation at times gets so weird that the character look absolutely different from what they initially appeared.
MY THOUGHTS:
I dont want to hate on this series, it’s just that i feel like this series could have done much better, the story is decent and the message which the writer wants to depict through the series is absolutely beautiful, but the animation of the characters at time, gave it away, the seriousness of the series drops as the faces of the characters gets distorted, and the weird movement of character makes it really funny at some part which take away the beauty of this anime.
Do I want to watch this anime again? Probably not.
Was it worth it? No, not really.
But I would still recommend you to watch this anime. Its not perfect, it has it flaws but it has its beauty aswell. You aint gonna get bored watching this I assure you, with a dynamic and a fast paced story, which tends to get obnoxious at times. I would rate this anime a 6.5 out of 10.

En’en no Shōbōtai or Fire force is an japanese manga series, and got its anime adaptation which aired on July 5 2019 with a total of 24 episode in its first season. The second season is currently ongoing.
I am gonna talk about what I really loved about this series and what I hated the most, these are all personal opinion and I don’t mean to offend anyone. Even if you get offended I dont really care lol.

THE STORY:
The series started with introducing us to a world where the major cause of death is due to human combustion which is most likely a natural phenomenon, in which a humans die and turn into fire monster called infernals. And as we dive further into the series we find out that many human combustion are being caused by an evil group the EVANGELIST. And the infernal who were previously humans pose some threat to the humanity now and have to be dealt with immediately and so this is the part where the FIRE FORCE comes in, they are similar to normal fire fighter just that, they deal with the infernals (monster) caused by human combustion.
But the one thing to keep in mind is that the FIRE FORCE companies are actually more like a church or a religious ground something like that, and they worship a God named SOL, and the infernals when being exterminate they are offered prayers.
SHINRA KUSAKABE, the protagonists of the series becomes a new recruit of a FIRE FORCE company and as the story progresses, we come to know that there are many Fire Force Company with a total of eight company and all the companies having different cause and objectives but the main objective of all these companies is to exterminate the infernal. Our hero joins the no.8 FIRE FORCE company, in hopes to becoming a hero as he had made a promise to his late mother. Both SHINRA’S mom and little brother died in an human combustionaccident when he was just a child.
The first thing I noticed when I started watching the series was that the quality of animation was very good, great actually, and I was really captivated by the quality of it. But to be honest I was actually pretty reluctant on not watching the series for many months, cause I though it was some wack fire fighting anime and stuff. But i was definitely wrong as I was engulfed by the story of SHINRA KUSAKABE and the FIRE FORCE.
I really didn’t see any flaws in the anime whatsoever, I can’t even complain about the characters, just that i have a little problem with the captain of no.8company, AKITARU OBI, not having any power, I can see why they didn’t gave him any powers as he very strong even without any powers and the fact that he is powerless makes him very modest and wise, but i so wanna see him power up and decimate the enemy. He is my favourite character in the series so far.

And about other characters, the fact that ARTHUR is a dickhead actually doesn’t make me mad at all, and the fact that his power depends on the way he feels about himself make ‘me’ feel like a dickhead instead. Other than the captain himself I really like MAKI-SAN she is strong and powerful, but most importantly she is just so nice, she overreacts sometimes but it’s understandable and those biceps are everything I need lol.

Now about some omnious characters, THE EVANGELIST GROUP being the main source of evil in the series currently, and SHO KUSAKABE, the little brother of SHINRA KUSAKABE, who our hero thought he lost in a fire 12 year ago makes him happy to know that his little brother is still alive, but being the part of this evil group our hero has to so something about it, our protagonists has a lot to uncover and the secret of his mother being alive but as an demon infernal make me raise a lot of questions.

Other than THE EVANGELIST group, the character JOKER who at first I presumed as a bad character, seems very interesting as he, somehow knew that our hero’s little brother was still alive and had other noteable knowledge of the infernals and about the EVANGELIST and he even saved our protagonists once, I guess. I dont know where this JOKER character is a good or a bad guy, he seems to be helping our hero in a secretive way but sometimes I feel he has some ulterior motives. Let’s see what he does in the future, maybe in season 2 we will get some truth.

Right now the season one ends with SHINRA knowing the truth about what really happened 12 year ago, as he is told by the captain of the first companyLEONARD BURNS, after having a little spar with our hero and having him deemed worth of the truth, BURNS tells everything he knew about the accident which happened 12 year ago, in the little spar with captain BURNS, it is quite noticeable that BURNS is extremely strong, and I sometimes get wary that he may be an enemy, I’m just assuming it.
Anyways, FIRE FORCE had a great first season, and I hope that season two won’t dissapoint us. I still have much to say but maybe next time. Leave a comment tho.
TOWER OF GOD is a south korean Web Manhwa and got its anime adaptation on 1 April 2020, with a total of 13 episode in its 1st season.
I am gonna talk about what I really loved about this series and what I hated the most, these are all personal opinion and I don’t mean to offend anyone. Even if you get offended I dont really care lol.

REVIEW:
The anime started off first with introducing BAM as the protagonists and RACHEL as the love interest of the Mc(as it seemed to me at first) it was pretty clear that this Rachel girl was pretty important to our little Mc.
Watching the first episode didn’t make me feel interested in the series to be frank, but i did completed the series tho. And surprisingly it was getting quite interesting as it was progressing further but the Mc was way too boring for me, the protagonists was definitely strong, but didn’t knew how to use his strength.
But the only problem I had with him was that he was the BIGGEST SIMP(in season one atleast) like seriously dude, how far are you gonna go for this girl, the only reason this series exists is cause this dude couldn’t stop SIMPING over Rachel and had to follow her to the Tower of God.
And this girl RACHEL at first, was all well and good, I even approved BAM to simp over her like I can understand SIMPING over a kind person, but dude little did I know how wicked and twisted Rachel truly was, instead of feeling grateful to our little Mc, she feels jealousy and hatred towards our little simp(BAM)
Being an ungrateful bitch, she even tried to kill BAM on many occasions and was successful as she pushed BAM from a distant height(I can’t explain how she killed him cause it will be too damn long but it was sure that he died atleast that’s what she thought) but little did that bitch know that BAM survived and it was pretty obvious that he is gonna get a power up or a training arc or something like that in the next season I assume.
So there is this king or a god JAHAD something like that(I forgot) who is most likely to be at the top of the Tower and there are these princesses and they seem to be quite powerful aswell and they are all adopted from different clans or races something like that, just to showcase the power of the King i guess, season one didn’t reveal much but it is quite obvious that there is much more than just BAM and RACHEL climbing the Tower.

And about BAM’s friend group, there is this one specific character named KHUN that I guess has something going on aswell, I can definitely see him affecting the story in major ways, I feel he may betray BAM in the future or maybe not, just a guess but right now he is quite a good friend to our little BAM
Enough of the characters, let’s talk about animation, cruchyroll did a good job for the first time ever(lol joking) animation was prettydecent and the story I guess was fine, I surely felt captivated after a while, and I can definitely say that the characters other than BAM and RACHEL are pretty interesting aswell.
Lastly I dont know what our little simp boi will do, will he take for his revenge and kill RACHEL or will he continue to simp. Only GOD and those filthy MANGA READERS know. Stop giving spoiler dude.

10. KIMETSU NO YAIBA (BLADE OF DEMON DESTRUCTION)
Starting off with a very mainstream anime, kimetsuno yaiba, an anime that has gained a lot of hype, due to its awesome animation and a good story line (not that great), with the main characters as Tanjiro who has to go through hardship to save his little sister Nezuko who has turned into a demon, follow their story yourself, season one is already complete, fans are already waiting for the second season and only God know what will happen to them and those goddamn manga reader, just stop giving spoiler man.
9. ONE PUNCH MAN
Next up is the epitome of no one is strong than the Mc anime ONE PUNCH MAN,just as the name suggest the Mc is so strong that it only takes one punch to kill even the mightiest of the opponent, SAITAMAwho wants to be a hero for a living, trains really hard to achieve his dream and becomes the strongest man alive, but is this what he really wanted as he is bored out of his mind. Check out the anime if you want to know. This anime has one of the best animation as well, currently there are 2 season available.
8. THE RISING OF THE SHEILD HERO
This anime is the definition of betrayal in my opinion. NAOFUMI an normal Japanese guy, got teleported to an another world, where he was told he was one of four legendary hero, all should have been good untill the bitch who he though was his friend betrayed him, I don’t wanna spoil the anime go watch this anime if you haven’t already, cause my boi NAOFUMI is on a rampage. Great anime, still waiting for the second season.
7. BLEACH
An masterpiece in itself with a lot of filler episode that no one wants to watch, bleach has started to gain a little hype after the announcement of new season this 2021 or so. Not much to say about this anime cause everyone has watched bleach once or twice in their lifetime. Hope the new season won’t dissapoint us.
6. KONO OTO TOMARE (STOP THE SOUND)
Watching this anime was a blessing for me, this anime in my opinion has one of the best story yet. I don’t know how many times I cried watching this anime. With an fantastic animation and character who are all so loveable, a story line to cry over and music to touch your heart. Watch KUDO the protagonists of this anime play the KOTOan classical instrument and just get amazed. I dont wanna say much about it, because this anime speaks for itself.
5. ATTACK ON TITAN
I know this anime deserves more than just no.5, but this is my anime list so whatever, this anime took the whole anime community by storm upon release, it gained a massive following due to its great storyline and a decent animation with a lot of killing and gruesomemoments, everybody was talking about this anime, some of them even going as far as saying the best anime ever. On the other hand I am just tired of girls stressing over how great Levi is and how they will marry him someday, get over it girl, anyways an amazing anime overall.
4. HUNTER X HUNTER
Again an amazing anime just like bleach but with no filler episode which is great if you ask me, short but not too short with a total of 148 episode and 2movies, a series that you should most definitely check out, and witness GON who is the sweetest character ever turn into an absolute beast, with an interesting story line, and a decent animation.
3. DORORO
An anime which was first released on 1969 and got a remake on 2019, this anime is an absolute gem, with a Mc who’s whole body gets sacrificed to the demons in exchange for a prosperous country, he struggles to get his body parts back by whatever means necessary. This anime is like a Rollercoaster unlike any other and with a very captivating story and awesome animation, It has earned it place in the 3rd spot.
2. THAT TIME I GOT REINCARNATED AS A SLIME
An anime well deserving of the no.2 spot, With a good story line which keeps getting better while progressing through, our Mc gets reincarnated as a slime in his next life and nothing seems to stop our little protagonists from getting stronger and stronger. If you haven’t watched this series, go watch it already dude.
1. ONE PIECE
One of the longest running anime with over 900+ episodes and still going, I consider ONE PIECE the greatestanime of all time, Luffy, the captain of the straw-hatpirate want to become the pirate king and obtain the legendary treasure(one piece) left by the previous pirate King ‘Gol D Roger’. On his journey to achieve his dream he gains a lot of friend and comrades to help him in his way to become the pirate king, this anime is definetly a 10/10 for me.
